It's a disaster! A disaster! Bloody blogger beta doesn't even support raw HTML editing, so I've lost my link list and my comments. Grrrr! Nice to hear from you, though, sir. How's tricks?
Horribly, horribly hectic, but can't complain and all that. Child currently in Greece with the Momma (not the bit that's on fire, I'm happy to say) so endeavouring to get some work done between dog-sitting for 3 different people (because apparently, as I work from home, I haven't got a 'proper job' and thus have lots of time to look after animals and children...) and going to the pub.
Also promised to start writing fiction again - both for my own sanity and for a project with a journo friend - but am having a little trouble getting going. On reflection, I'm not sure that I've ever written any fiction since I went straight-edge which is a bit of a worry. I may have to dig my opium supplier's number out of my black book.
Blogger is a bastard even in Alpha - I've started writing all my longer stuff in Writely (google's new box of tricks) and posting from there (not that I'm posting much at the mo...)
I'm extending my search nationwide for intellectual property to pirate . London's proving fruitful but a bastard to navigate. How's Cambridge for second-hand bookshops?
I await, as I'm sure everybody else does, your travel tales with great interest. I'm sure they'll be sweeping and majestic, intriguing and insightful, intimate and touching and all in the most perfect prose . No pressure...
Welcome back. You scared us there. It was odd, but the link in my post continued to work the whole time your site was down.
Have enjoyed your pictures and look forward to your stories.
I get the impression from some of your comments that you are an aficiando of Soviet aircraft. If true, let me know I have some interesting pix I will put in a post for you.

Welcome back (twice gone!)
Wonderful photos!
Maybe you should try blogger alpha?
I'm just glad your blog still exists! I'm very attached to this corner of the intermittentnet!!!
