Panic room

Well, not so much the room: me. Off to Uzbekistan again tomorrow for an ornithological & ethnographical expedition and this time, I expect, very far from email. Ah well. See you all on the other side...and apologies for the brevity, again. I'm sooo antsy and there's a pile of stuff to pack and books to return to libraries and piles of plates to wash and I can't sit still for more than a minute at a time and and.
