Christmas is coming
I can't remember where this picture file came from. Apologies for any copyright infringement. ....A handful of northern long-tailed tits at a ringing station...
What we need is a collective noun (or noun of assembly) for long-tailed tits, comparable to a wisp of snipe, a charm of goldfinches, etc. Inspired by this photograph, may I (respectfully) suggest for starters "a handful of tits"?
Yes...I know a lot of guys who would like a handful of tits for Christmas. (Sorry.......I couldn't help it.=p That is a seriously cute picture, though...)
