My daughter watched it too. Top Gear (from which the clip is taken) is one of her favorite programs. Maybe as she gets older she will grow out of it, but I hope not.
Fantastic - I immediately sent your post (well, the URL) off to the design student. Now I need to figure out if I can tivo Top Gear on BBC America - cable box is a problem...
We need a word for 'the love of especially adapted and yet peculiarly emotional design'. Have to say - the Veyron has it, MIGs and Saabs have it, even some mountaineering equipment (mmmm, ice-axes). Gosses, eagles, spars, too. But the Typhoon?

I grew up in the car business. THAT was too cool. I'd LOVE to drive that car.

My daughter and I just watched it and we shrieked out loud! That was wild!
The cinematography and editing in that clip are incredible. And that is one sexy car. Plane's not bad either eh?
I have got to show this to my aviation crazed son!
