Birdoole loved this perch! And yes, he hasn't had much blogging attention, has he. But life's not bad. He gets far more cuddles than Mabel, and Mabel doesn't have an awesome sleeping box and toys to play with....
For some reason this picture reminds me of my early teenage years with screech owls--my first "falconry" birds. I had them sit on homemade bow perches (approximated from my 1 stolen falconry book) and made hoods for them out of the ends of my socks.
My falconry furniture skills have not come very far, actually.
