I found my two jinx birds (Mountain Plover at Salton Sea and Hooded Merganser near the Tijuana Estuary), but I failed to locate the Zone-tailed Hawk that everyone else had seen in the company of Turkey Vultures at the San Diego Wildlife Park near Escondido. I am telling you this to cover up the fact that I haven't got Pluvialis on my 2007 list yet. >smiley face<
